Beginner sewing classes

From your first stitch to a full garment, learn the basics of working a sewing machine, planning out fabric and patterns, sewing seams, and finishing projects. Students will develop the confidence and skill to work on beginner projects on their own after the introductory week class and can learn additional techniques in later classes.

Reversible Bucket Hat

1/2 yard medium thickness fabric, such as linen, light-weight denim, canvas, cotton twill, or thick cotton (outside)

Location

Classes are held at Ironwork co-working studio at 711 Milby St, Houston, TX 77023 in EaDo. The creative space houses independent makers, local food and drink vendors, and workshop spaces with ample free parking on site. Beginner sewing classes are limited to 8 students
