Custom Pet Portraits
A pet portrait is a unique and personal gift, a way to enjoy your pet’s silly mug, and a deeply meaningful commemoration of a pet who has passed on.
Please contact me through my shop email to begin the process. I will need to know the finished size of the piece and be given a close up photo of the pet’s face. We will discuss the color way - if you would like the colors to be as realistic as possible or if you would prefer a color scheme (say, a shades of blue dog or rainbow cat).
Custom work price break down:
$125 a square foot base price which covers creating the pattern from your photo, our consultation, and the cost of the lead frame.
$2 per piece of cut glass.
$20 shipping if necessary.
I reserve the right to amend the price if a commission is particularly labor intensive or extra add ons are requested. The final price will always be agreed upon before work begins.
Please note that full payment will be required before work can begin. It will take 2 - 4 weeks to finish a custom commission. Glass only comes in so many colors and textures. The glass selected for your portrait will be as close as I can possibly find to make the portrait as realistic as possible.
