Beginner Copper Foil Technique. $300 includes classes and materials.
If you haven’t worked with glass for a while or would like to get started learning the basics of the stained-glass craft, this class is for you! You will learn all of the steps from start to finish of the copper foil method while making your own panel. Detailed lessons and handouts will be provided as well as the mentorship and one on one assistance of an experienced glasser. The classes are held in my micro-studio, so class size is limited to 3 students. This allows me to give my students individualized attention. All the materials and glass are included. All work is done in the studio so there is no need to purchase tools at this time. You will leave this class with a lovely stained-glass panel and the knowledge to continue growing in this art.
-
Intermediate Class. $150 classes only. Materials and tools supplied by student.
Beginner Copper Foil Technique class is required before registering for the Intermediate Class. This class is in the style of an independent study. Students must bring their own pattern, tools, and glass to the studio where an experienced glasser is on hand to aid and mentor students as needed. This is an invaluable time for students to solidify their new skills and begin working on more challenging pieces. This class is self paced and students will be working on various projects at different stages of the process. This class is held in my micro-studio, so class size is limited to 3 students.
-
Sips and Solder. $100 includes class and materials.
This class is a make and take style workshop where in one sessions, students will create a small stained glass piece - think sun catcher - in a casual and social environment. No experience is necessary as parts of the project will be prepared ahead of time. Project patterns will vary over the year (I do love a good theme) based on the season and interest of the students. Classes are held in my micro-studio and due to the communal aspect of this class, tool sharing may occur. Class size is 6. Sign up with your friends or meet new ones! Refreshments will be provided.
